Individual dental implant
An implant supports a crown in the gap left by a missing tooth. Unlike a traditional tooth-supported bridge, it does not rely on neighboring teeth to hold the replacement in place.
Daily care: Stays in place for daily brushing and flossing.

Implant-supported denture
Implants can anchor a denture more securely than a conventional denture that rests on the gums. Some implant-supported dentures are removed at home for cleaning; fixed designs are removed by a dental professional.
Daily care: Removable dentures come out for cleaning. Fixed dentures are cleaned in place.

Hybridge Gen 4
A Hybridge restoration is a fixed set of teeth supported by implants across the upper or lower jaw. It replaces an arch without requiring a separate implant for every missing tooth. Full-mouth treatment may involve both arches.
Daily care: Stays in place at home. Cleaning around the implants remains part of daily care.

Examination and imaging guide the plan. Some patients need extractions or bone treatment before, or alongside, implant placement.
Implants are placed in the jawbone. Local anesthesia numbs the area; the team can discuss sedation when it is appropriate for your treatment and health.
The implants need time to bond with the jawbone. Temporary teeth may be used during this stage.
The crown, denture, or fixed bridge completes the restoration. Ongoing cleaning and dental visits help maintain the implants and the replacement teeth.
Cost and payment
An implant-only quote may exclude the final crown or bridge. Compare the full treatment cost, including any preparation and temporary teeth.
The number of teeth being replaced, your bone and gum health, materials, and treatment complexity all affect the estimate.
Approval, interest rates, fees, and repayment terms vary. Compare the total repayment cost as well as the monthly payment.
Some plans cover parts of treatment, such as extractions, imaging, or crowns. Benefits depend on your policy; implant coverage may be limited.

Questions before your visit
Yes, implants may still be an option after years of wearing dentures. Your jawbone, gum health, and medical history affect your eligibility. Bone grafting may be needed if you have lost bone.
No. A fixed full-arch restoration uses implants to support a connected set of teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Hybridge Gen 4 is one full-arch option at CIC. If both arches need replacement, each is planned as part of your overall treatment.
Local anesthesia numbs the area during implant placement. CIC also offers sedation options. Discomfort after surgery is possible, and recovery varies with the procedure.
Healing around an implant can take several months or longer. Extractions, bone grafting, and the type of replacement teeth can add to the overall treatment time.
Temporary teeth may be fixed or removable. Whether you can wear them during healing depends on your procedure and the stability of the implants. Temporary teeth are separate from the final crown, denture, or bridge.
Clean the replacement teeth and around the implants every day, following the technique your dental team demonstrates. Removable dentures and fixed bridges need different cleaning routines. Regular dental visits are also important, even when an entire arch of natural teeth has been replaced.
